PROPOSITION from the Youth Committee:
The following is the proposition that our first batch of Youth Club Committee proposed:
Gujarati Samaj should have 4 to 5 events annually geared to children 7 & older. The Youth Committee will plan events such as Game nights, Movie nights, bowling outing or a DJ night.
They proposed to volunteer to clean up the God’s sanctum before major events such as Diwali, Ram Navmi & Janmashtami. They will have a sign up sheet and the younger members of the Youth Club can sign up to volunteer.
They will help during major Samaj events namely Navratri Garba, annual Diwali dinner, Diwali Annkut.
They will plan and execute a couple of volunteer projects in the community.
They will plan one or two fundraisers annually, e.g. 5k for a charity or a restaurant fundraiser or selling refreshments/ treats during major events.
Sounds interesting? Do you want to be part of the Club and make meaningful change for youths like you?
